Try this: Take some warm chicken bits in your treat container and throw out a piece well ahead of her to get her to learn to go forward. As she gets to the treat, you will praise her for "Good walkies!" A curious dog will then look forward expecting another treat to be thrown and this will teach her to go forward away from the yard and on down the sidewalk. In time, pretend to throw a treat or just throw kibble. Eventually when your dog learns to venture forward on her own, you won't have to entice her.
