What color did you get, some of the painted leathers with metallic colors are stiffer, I also heard that the black patented leather belt is stiff. I just got another regular black harness for my foster, and it's stiffer than Joey's 5 year old harness, but it's kind of like a baseball glove, it takes a while to break in.
