more water. I have found my self in the same boat exp. I don't drink coffee... When I was 23 I found out I was becoming hypertensive and the doctor told me cut out sodas, salty food and drink plenty of water I tried it for a while stuck with it for a year lost about 15 lbs along the way... I found drinking water hard because you want to drink the bad stuff. My doctor recommend crystal light less sugar more water.. it helps big time I drink two reg. size water bottle and two 16oz crystal lights dring the day... I also make flavored green tea... I boil it and set it in the frig... I love it cold. it gets water into the system and is healthy... the key is to lower your sugar in take which is hard and takes about four weeks... but ask your doctor about it...
