 Shot reaction!
Izzy is now over a year old. I took her in 13 hours ago to meet a new vet to see about getting her spayed, and while I was there she was due for her rabies/distemper shot. This time she got the 3 year shots for both. While getting the (I believe) distemper shot she jerked away and some of the shot was spilled out. He gave her a half a shot more to make up for it. Now she is shaking and trembling big time, is getting stiff (very sore at site) and is losing her appetite and feels horrible! I called the emergency vet as it is 4:45 here, and they just said to bring her in, but did not sound convincing that they could do anything other than give her benedryl. She finally went back to sleep so I think will try to wait until the vet that gave her the shot reopens at 8am.
