Ruby is now ten months. She has had her first heat since early december (wish I could remember the exact date) and it still is going. Her vagina is not swollen almost at all now but she is still bleeding. It was my understanding that the heat lasted only 23 days. I do know for sure though it has been longer than that now. I t has been a month if not more since its going on. Should I be concerned or do they sometimes have longer heat periods. I am getting really worried now and I don't want to take her to the vet just for anything. I have a tendancy to do so for every little thing. They know me by memory now. Any help would be appreciated.
