I think you going to get a lot of different answers here because it depends on the pups personality and and your babies that you have already.

I do think that boys tend to be more laid back but they can also be very territoral toward other males sometimes.

For us if we got another puppy we would have to get another female. The reason why is because Roscoe is very territoral around other males but is easy going and sweet with any female dog.

Also too though you would have to consider if Ivy would be that way towards a another female.
