Sounds like my teenage son! He used to call Sophia a rat dog (completely jokingly.) Then we got Peyton and he realized just how calm and SWEET Sophia is and he is always going on and on about what a good dog she is.
He likes Peyton too, but Peyton is so playful and a little unsure of him, so it is hard for him to pet him. He saw him sleeping on my lap last night and wondered what was wrong with him.
Peyton sleeps and cuddles on me all the time, but my son only just now noticed. Boys!
