I take ZoE with me everywhere I can. I figure it breaks up her day, gives her new sights, sounds, smells, stimulation. Sometimes that means I drive into town twice, once to drop mail at the post office & run through the bank drive thru where she can be with me, and then we'll go home and I'll go back out a lil later to go grocery shopping.
We play ALOT at home. She's more playful and loves her toys more than any other dog I've ever had. I'll occasionally give her a kong with a treat in it and sometimes at meal time I'll put her kibble in this other kong-type toy I have that she has to bounce on the floor to get her kibble out. That will entertain her for a good half hour.
