Sam was in the hospital for about 5 days after surgery and came home with a pain patch (fentanol-not sure of spelling). The hardest part was to keep him enclosed in the dining room and kitchen so he couldn't jump and be wild. He was a little subdued the first day home. Then we returned to have the pain patch removed and a few days later went back again for a recheck. Hope your baby Thor is home soon. It is so nerve wracking when they are sick.
Great info and thank you for sharing. It makes me start thinking of how I'm going to contain my little instigator..... We have 4 doxies that are his constant companions but he is my little trouble maker. I'm thinking I'm going to have to section off part of the house and keep him in an area where he cant jump.... hum.....
