I reccomend any of the Samsung Galaxy phones. I chronically blow through phones ( I work for Sprint.. and I can get a good cost on them) but for the past year and a half I've stuck with my Samsung Galaxy S.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 is now out and as soon as my phone dies (if it ever does :P) I'll be moving to that one.

It's an Android phone, so it has all of the android market apps and features. It also has a keyboard.. a MUST for me.

They make the Galaxy phones for many carriers, so just pick your carrier based upon coverage and cost that suits you, and then look at phones. Go to the store and play with them, see which layout feels like the best fit for you.

I would definitely go with an android platform phone or an iphone though, they can do so much. I would not go with a blackberry or a windows phone personally, but that's just me.
