So, so, so any things you need to know! This site is an excellent resource. Check the stickies at the top of the page in the different forums...that will give you tons of basic care and safety advice.

Right off the top of my head I always recommend having the Nutrical on hand for low blood sugar problems (a HUGE CONCERN for Yorkies!), always use a harness instead of a collar for
walks to avoid collapsing trachea, make sure you are careful of what you feed as some human foods are poisonous to dogs. Just read and read and read...there is lots to know!
