Although, I have been giving them this peanut butter bone thing from a brand called Pur Love, made in the US. The other night Smokey was gagging and coughing up a fit in the middle of the night, and threw up a bit. I turned on the light and saw a piece of the PurLove bone, about 1/2" long and halved lengthwise. I hadn't given them any of those bones since two days prior! And those are all food product. So I'm not giving those anymore either. So frustrating! |
Wow, that scary, are you sure he hadn't taken a piece and hidden it? Could it really last that long? I did see some rawhides that were made in the U.S., but these are quite a bit thicker than the ones I have.
Amazon.com: Wholesome Hide Beef Hide Twists - 5... The one good thing about rawhides is there is no smell at all.
