I've had hypo-thyroid for a little over 10 years. Well my levels were checked & they were so low they're not even in the lowest range. I have & usually have had symptoms of feeling sluggish, tired, various appetites & weight changes, etc. etc. It causes lots of things to go wrong.
I've also been Dx with anemia & vitamin D deficiency recently. I can deal with all of this fine except for one thing-my hair is breaking, like really breaking and starting to thin & even fall out. I'm so devastated.

I probably sound so superficial, but I've been crying & avoiding public places since I really noticed a few days ago. It's not terrible yet but I'm afraid to brush & wash it.

My hair has always been thick & healthy, even when I dyed it frequently a few years back. My doc sucks & I'm waiting on my insurance to start in Jan. to see a decent one.
Just wondered if my thyroid could cause this or if anyone's heard of or experienced it. And if my 'numbers' are low, would they put me on a
lower dose of meds?

Hopefully someone can share an experience, even if they want to pm it, that's fine.
