I agree w/ Ellie May, too.

If you want to give wet food, maybe find a different kind, with less ingredients and less fat, etc. I usually give Jackson a bit of canned (Right now - Weruva canned food) with his breakfast and I find that less than a spoonful is enough; also, I pour a bit of hot water over it and give it a little stir and he loves it!

I actually really like canned food (less preservatives, less fillers, more moisture, etc) but it would be way too expensive to feed my 16lb solely canned. Plus the added convenience of kibble is nice.
