You all are making me beam with pride. I am lucky to have these little characters in my life. You may have noticed the female Shih Tzu has one eye. She is a rescue & came to us in just awful shape & very ill with her eye just being enucleated. We thought we might lose her the first week. With the help of our vet though, we nursed her back to health & she is doing well despite having some health issues. We got her at 3 years of age & she is now 10 & she was never expected to live. Keegan, our 12 y/o Shih Tzu has terrible allergies & gets ear infections often. He has been tested & we feed within his allergy-free foods but he has such a rough time with environmental allergies. He is also high anxiety so is on medication for that as well. So far, Lexi seems healthy but we know that can change at a moments notice. We just pray it doesn't. If it does, we will deal with it, just like any of us would with our kids. They truly remind us of our blessings, especially at this time of the year.

Thank you everyone.
