But I do have this to say, when I lost my first Yorkie, my hubby came on leave from Korea. We were stationed in Georgia at the time, he surprised with me my Lizzie, when I asked where he bought her, he said the Flea Market in Savannah. While I wasn't happy to hear that and gave him a leason on the dog's sold there, he was very upset.
I will say this, Lizzie was my heart dog. She passed away almost a month ago at the age of 14 years 9 months. I miss her so much, and am having such a hard time with her being gone.
I also went to the Trade Day's in Canton, Texas many years ago and it made me sick to see all those babies there, and have never been back.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear Lizzie. At least she got a wonderful home and a great mom who loved her. It is hard to lose our loved furbabies I lost my dear KeallyJan.26,2010 and it was devastating. I bought her from a good breeder [I thought] and she had IBD all her life. Then she got giardia and lost most of her protein and we were told to put her down. We took her to University Of Mn and they saved her life. Alot of people and my family thought my husband and I were nuts to pay out alot of money. Our little girl thanked us everyday til two two and a half years after that incident she got a brain tumor. She was a strong girl and always there for me ; the loss you can't explain. I love talking about her and we think of her everyday. Now we are blessed with another little girl named Kinder she is our angel from Deb Sillers. We love her so much and got a good healthy puppy. Now she is over a year and a half my how time flies. Anyways bless you for giving Lizzie a wonderful home. She knew you loved her. I just feel sad for the flea markets selling these babies. Susan
