I guess I should know this, but I continue to be confused about how the points are aquired and tallied towards the Grand Champion.
I have a boy that recently finished with 15 points and 2 majors, and we have the AKC certificate in hand.
In order to accumulate additional points, does he have to be Best of Breed, and then get the same points as the winner's dog gets?
Along the same lines, in order to get majors, is it BOB over the winner's dog, and then credited for the major?
Just trying to decide whether it is worth the time and expense going for his Grand Championship, or to concentrate on the next show prospect.
