I still have 11 year old top load washer and dryer that have never had one minute of problems..........yet. I was wanting front loaders, but my friend had them and the washer started leaking. There seems to be pros and cons with both types, but I don't mind taking my blankets, comforters, and doggie beds, to the laundry matt, where they have the really large front loaders, once in awhile, so I think my next set will be the top loaders since my clothes always come out so clean and nice, and so do the quilted potty pads, and I can soak things, and the washer never has any unpleasant odors.
