Right now, Katie Scarlett sleeps in our room, but not on the bed. She has her big girl bed, a potty pad, and water bowl set up in the corner of the room. We have a small x pen set up around it. But we were wanting to confine her until she was potty trained. She is almost if not 100% of the way there. I let her lay up in the bed with us until she goes to sleep and then I gently lay her down in her big girl bed. My husband is going to be building us some stairs so she can just sleep up there with us soon. She is a good girl when she gets to go to sleep on the bed. When I put her immediately into her big girl bed without cuddling, she will bark a bit. If I don't give in, she will bark for a while, but finally give in. I'd rather her just be up there with me. I sleep alone as my husband works nights about 4 nights per week. It'd be nice to have a companion on the nights he is not here. LOL
