 Going for walks in cold weather
Yorkies are warm weather dogs. Most of them don't like the cold, altho my baby loves running around in snow, diving in and out of piles. But at the same time, she will put off going out to pee when it's cold and pees on the carpet instead, grrrr. Occasionally when we go out to walk, she'll suddenly come to a dead stop. There are certain places like homes in the area with big loud dogs she won't go past. So I pick her up and carry her a 1/2 block or block, put her down and she's good to go again, lol. |
