The difference between ckc and akc is not just the size and marking of the dog. CKC (if it is Continental) is completely worthless, and you shouldn't pay the breeder money for worthless papers.

Being the OP lives in central Texas, and this is a Craigslist purchase, I thought it was most likely the Continental Kennel Club rather than the Canadian and therefore didn't feel the need to ask.
