The blood in the stool isnt always cause for alarm but always needs a vet check because there are serious things like parvo that could be the cause. However with the stopping of gaining weight and the blood I think there may be more going on and you need to see another vet today. I dont want to scare you but if it is something as serious as parvo immediate vet care can mean the difference between life and death. I hope thats not it I am just giving you my deepest concern
