I think you're missing the point. Lyme valley is a big park, mny dog walkers use it, dogs run free in that park. Many dog walkers, myself included prefer to let the dogs off lead to have a decent run, as is our right. I've just explained its in an area where dogs are off the lead, I said the dog was playing ball. So control on a lead doesn't come into it.
