On the carrots, do I give little pieces or can I give a baby carrot? Also, on the apples, is it ok to have the skin on it or do I peel that off before cutting into small pieces?
Also, would cheerios be a good treat too? At puppy class, Katie Scarlett seems intrigued by the trainers pocket of cheerios. |
Cheerios are a good treat and also those gerber baby yogurt drops. I give mine frozen green beans, but they are used to them. Since KS is still a baby I would at least warm them. You don't want to give raw green beans, but the frozen beans are blanched before they freeze them. I just buy the frozen with nothing added. Look at the ingredient list on the bag and make sure there is no sodium listed.
As for apples, you need to peel them and absolutely no seeds they are toxic!!! I would be afraid to give a whole baby carrot because of the choking hazard, I usually just cut it up into bite size pieces.
