At my wits end, I finally caved to the personal recommendations of some close friends and took him to a holistic vet. Normally I wouldn't have stepped foot in anything deemed "holistic" comgin from a background of quite a few health issues, but I've tried everything else and figured it couldn't hurt. It turned out a reporter was there and asked if it was okay that she wrote an article about the exam and what not. So here he is, famous Gizmo!

I don't know why you would get alot of heat about it. I actually think it's good you have checked them out.
My Vet's don't see a problem with combining traditional and Holistic (as long as they are certified Holistic).
I hope Gizmo is starting to feel better.
