I have come to know all the rules. I know all about breeding to better the breed. I know that purebred yorkies should only produce more purebred yorkies if they are genetically tested, championed, etc..... I know what should be done and what SHOULD NOT be done!! I know they are "mutts".... I know they aren't recognized by AKC.... But, guess what?? I don't care!!! (well, I do but I don't).... I also know what negative feedback I will get from this thread...and that's ok.

I have 2 purebred yorkies... One of whom is a "blue" (the love of my life). I also have a "mutt" (3/4 yorkie, 1/4 shi zoo( as I like to call it)) who is a sweet beautiful baby girl that I adore!!!! (shorkie)

And I am getting another "mutt" for my son.... A morkie( Maltese and yorkie)

Why?? Because they are still the same.... They have the same heart that a purebred would have. It still beats, still yearns for attention, still wants to be loved. I don't care that it's not a pure yorkie.... I dont care if he wasnt for the better meant of the breed.... He needs someone to
Love him, to call him their own. and that person is me!!! And when I introduce him, dont belittle me for adopting a "mutt".... Don't tell me he's an outsider... Because he will be our new baby.... No matter what. I will love him, and I hope that you all will accept him.....because it doesn't matter. He is our baby.
