I live by Lyme, Connecticut where Lyme Disease was discovered and named. I don't have Piper vaccinated even though Lyme is quite common (I have had the disease 3 times). I found with my first yorkie that every time I had him vaccinated for Lyme within 10 days he was sick with the disease. After 3 years in a row I finally thought that maybe the vaccination was making him sick. He was never vaccinated again and lived to be 13 years old without ever getting sick with Lyme. I always used Frontline Plus on him as I do on Piper.
