It was very informative and I really appreciate your input and your enthusiasm, girlfriend!
However, personally I think the fat count is too high in the above calculation. JMO, but I try to limit fat as much as possible. Works for me, may not work for others. Maybe if you are getting your fat calories from GOOD fats such as nuts and low fat spreads, it could add up to that, but if within your fats you are eating a lot of saturateds and trans, it could be trouble.

I may not understand the calcs well because I don't do weights and measures. Pat might be able to comment on that end, she is the eating scientist in this group.

If some folks can lose weight eating almost one third of their calories in fats, more power to them. Just be careful about the kind of fats you eat.
