I honestly don't think you can get all that stuff on a dog in a hurry. I'd put the harness and a velcro coat on and get out the door. Shovel your self a little area for him to go on so you don't have to worry about salt. If you feel like you have to put something on his feet they have these little disposable things to put on them. I would use something that is thin because dogs want to be able to feel what they are stepping on. Thick soles feel un-natural to them.
