I was always afraid to bring a second dog home. I was worried my dog would get profoundly depressed. I did not want her to change. She hated other dogs, and got very upset when my husband or I would interact with a dog. It really hit home one day, when I was down on the ground kissing the pug across the street. My yorkie was glaring at me. She promptly walked into the house and took crap right in the middle of the kitchen floor! This was something she NEVER did, and I got the message. We still laugh about that to this day. |
