Yup there was another thread about this I think in the breeder's section.

It made for an interesting read.

I own 2 big dogs and one Yorkie, and my guard attack cat. (J.K). But even still I'm looking at getting a security camera system, and outside proximity lights.

A pretty valid point was made, that by the time one would allow someone to visit the house, several conversations have taken place, and a puppy application is filled in. This among many other things will list their home addy and phone numbers, along with vet reference. If I felt uncomfortable about allowing these folks in my home, I truly doubt I'd feel comfortable allowing them to have a pup of mine.
