My sister has a german shepard/husky mix(Sasha) and Lola LOVES her! Sasha will literally lay on her tummy and back and let Lola pounce all over her. But Lola was very intimidated at first, but after a little while (maybe an hour or so) they became best buds. Sahsa had previous experience with little dogs(from my Kiwi) and it took her a while to learn to be easy and gentle with him, but now she is amazing with them! I say give it a little time and I'm sure they will get along just fine!
