Just wanted to add, my brother raises and works his Husky dogs. He has even done the Alaska Race thing and shows many times. He said to me, "Never trust a Husky to be tame. Wild runs in their blood and they can go from dog to wild predator in a heart beat. That is why they survive when other dogs would die."
Maybe your Yorkie knows this instinctively.
