I don't even want to
think about how sick I'd feel if I ever lost one of my dogs for even a few minutes.
Recently I went on a shortish roadtrip & opened the car door at the rest area before leashing my two (had to pee!). Well, out jumps Tuffy & over to the car next to us. There was a man standing there & he sniffed him as I was saying to the man "Please, pick him up, he's very very friendly" Well, this man apparently was NOT an animal lover & told me so in some nasty words. Meanwhile, off goes Tuffy since he saw a big dog about 100 yards away
I'm yelling my head off to the people in the rest area telling them not to chase him. It was insane & honestly the worst scare ever.
The reason I'm telling this story is to remind everyone...we can NEVER be too safe with these little guys!
