I could not sleep tonight. I found myself reading this thread and I am just so blessed beyond words! Everyone's kind words DO help with healing. The past month or so has gotten better (so there is hope!) but we still miss her dearly. I realized just a day or so ago that most of my friends and family did not know of Ginger's passing. This is mostly my fault because I didn't have the heart to talk about it. Most of my family also found out another thing as well (not related but definitely big and personal) and I just realized that. In a time of hurt and pain, I shut out so many people who do love me. I shut out that support system. I urge everyone to NOT do that. My sister just found out about Ginger tonight and she was heart broken. It made me realize that it was kind of selfish of me to not think of all of the people in my life who adored Ginger! Oh how I miss her! Yes, my husband has been wonderful through this; however, I should have not shut out so many people for so long. But I know that she will indeed greet me one day again with lots of sweet kisses.
Thank you all for your kind words. I am so glad that we have a place to share our laughter, our joys, too many pictures, silly stories, and sorrows as well. And for those who are wondering, yes....we are adding another to our family so you will be meeting her soon.
