It does make them more picky to switch food every time they don't eat. Giving them human food can make them not want to eat dog food too or giving them to many treats. Callie normally is not picky but sense her surgery she has not wanted to eat so I went to hand feeding her which most of the time works but when it didn't and she would eat nothing I admit I went to the closet and pulled out a sample of another food I had but if a dog is completely healthy when choosing not to eat although hard I would suggest trying to stick it out especially if its only for one day.
