I'm torn on this for all the reasons Nana911 said and then again I'm like what next-in Korea, Hawaii, and other places 'dog' (not exactly Yorkies so be calm) are eaten so would we feel the same about that if it were to be the next meat?

My step-grandparents (Italian immigrants) raised rabbits they use to say they were rabbits not bunnies-these were for eating not pets.

They love dog in Korea. I'm 1/2 korean and my bro lived there for over a decade. The main problem with dog in Korea is that they tie them up in a back and literally take a stick and beat them to death. They think it tenderizes the meat. Sickening. I have no problem with the food it is the way it is obtained. All livestock should be treated as Kosher law which means no suffering during slaughter. The world isn't going vegan so that would be the best we could do. A goal of no suffering no matter what the species.
I just remember that most of my babies are the size of appetizers and therefore pretty safe......
