yes, that is so so sad. My last dane lived to be almost 11. so that wasn't bad. but I know that is not the "norm". I'll just treasure every day of it. He really is amazing. so well trained and just the sweetest baby I've ever been around. I don't have one single complaint,..he is simply perfect. well....maybe the tail LOL You get so used to the yorkie "nubs" that you forget how much a dane tail can beat you up LOL
