I'm a real believer in venting and having someone to tell your feelings are valid. I think this is a tremendous stress reliever. Of course, sometimes we are incorrect in our perception of events, but are feelings about those events are what's important, and it's important that someone hears those feelings. Glad you worked out what you need to do and have a plan of action. I think when someone can really listen to us, it's easier for us to figure out what to do that will help us move on.
By the way, I have more fun shopping for my babies than I have shopping for anyone. No worries if they will like it or not, all I do is have to please myself, which is hard enough! I bought a car seat and a fishing vest among other things before I got Joey, and it helped me make the commitment. I was leary of making a commitment because of all the pain one experiences when one loses a pet. |
