There really shouldn't be anything to think about. You cannot take the dog. That is not only illegal. There is the risk of retribution and you don't want to put your little one at risk. Some people can be very dangerous and have been known to throw poisons over fences to get back at people and you do not want to take that risk should they find out. It isn't worth it.
