I don't believe so, I think it originally got infected because he licked the neuter site, and I guess the first round of antibiotics didn't clear it up all the way.
I am happy to report that after just a few days of wearing the cone and being on antibiotics that his scrotum is looking a lot better. It isn't "wet" looking and the red is going away. I really hope these next few rounds of antibiotics kill the infection this time!
