I would feed sardines packed in water with no salt added before I would feed tuna, due to the Omega 3's. As was mentioned previously, feed the water packed tuna and be sure to compare sodium levels. Anything that is considerably over 100mg per serving, I would avoid. The sardines I feed, which are packed in spring water, show to be 150mg of sodium per serving for comparison. I wish I could obtain a lower level of sodium, but that is as low as I can find at the grocery store I frequent.
