to those of you considering adopting a yorkie puppy for Christmas,
please, please, take a few moments to consider the welfare of the dog..
Christmas presents can be eaten...tinsel can be swallowed...the water in the christmas tree stand is toxic to dogs....
Food dropped on the floor from company may injure your dog (Onions, chocolate, bones, etc.)....
Company can be overwhelming for a dog/pup that has just joined your home...
Please also consider adopting from a yorkie rescue group...there are many in the USA....these poor yorkies wind up in high kill shelters where they may have 72 hours before they are killed....they are there throught no fault of their own......
please also consider volunteering...these yorkies need you....
