Of course, this is "just" another organization, but... the point is...if everyone donated to their local shelters much more could be done. That, and spend time writing to you congressmen and women regarding puppy mills, sales of puppies in pet stores, etc. Just recently not far from me, a puppy mill with over 220 dogs was shut down, for the moment.. The courts have agreed to a new hearing for the people running this horrible place. Lets hope this judge doesn't have his head up his.... and does NOT let these people have the dogs back.
And, just another little funny note on PETA.. How much of those donations were spent on their little ventures like in Turkey, Texas, where they campaigned to change the name of the town to Tofurky, Texas through the Thanksgiving holidays. Really!!?? Needless to say, that didn't fly..lol

Spay and neuter your pets people!
Don't buy from pet stores, puppy mills, greeders, and your basic bad backyard breeder.
Donate your money or time to local groups. JMO
