We are still working on Katie Scarlett's nipping too. She is improving, but not all the way there yet. Right now what we do is if she nips the first time, we firmly (but not yelling) say 'no' and direct her to a toy such as her rope toy or a bully stick. If she doesn't go to the toy and nips again, she gets time out in her xpen. She is getting to where she won't nip a second time. She knows what the words 'time out' mean and she doesn't like it. LOL. So we are still in the process, but directing to a toy is helping her.
