I agree that emergencies come first but I'm sure that someone had to be at the front desk and could have called each owner that had their dog in and waiting. I would like to have the option to either pick up or wait.
I would be stressed too. Shoot, I'm stressed if my car isn't done in a few hours let alone my pet.
