We don't have this problem with Harry, but we
did have it with our labrador
. She actually never really got over it, but it did get slightly better as she got older.
Do you take them out there on their leads? Unfortunately, at first at least, you're going to have to bear the elements too, mac + wellies by the door. Is there an outside light you can put on for them if they don't like the dark?
It reached the point when I used to creep outside with the umbrella over Rosie the lab, and me getting soaked...!!!
