This is a known cure for stains and odors,according to many manufacturers you should add 1 to 2 oz of vineger to a gal. of warm water,saturate the spot with this solution and then place a clean white towel on the spot with a heavy object and let it sit to help wick the soultion out...repeat as necessary.
