Thank you for responding! I'm relieved to hear I'm not the only one wanting to attempt this. Sounds like your dog has it down which is great. I began again with strong re-inforcement of the pad use yesterday and he seems to get it. I just know it will be easier for both of us in all the circumstances we'll be in, including traveling. We'll be driving to FL with him for the 1st time and that will be a relief for all to use the pad.
