I have always used colored lights on our
and outside
. Our tree is prelit but last year only one strand light when we went to put the tree up. Instead of buying a new tree we just bought LED lights. I loved the small ball lights and that's what we ended up using on the tree. My suggestion would be to make your decision TODAY and not wait until the weekend to buy. When we were trying to buy lights around this time last year all the stores were
sold out or didn't have enough strands to match. The issue was that you could not purchase a few boxes from Target, Walmart, Walgreens because the colors would not match.
This year our outside lights are going to be RED and WHITE! Clark (Griswald) was up on the roof over the weekend and it's still a work in progress. But so far I love the change and it's different from all the neighbors
